L&C Bioessenze S.r.l. undertook the multiplication of several plant species using the method of reproduction by cuttings. With this method it was possible to create a population of plants of the same species starting from a single mother plant. The result is that the plants in the seed farm meet the botanical and chemical requirements of the mother plants which they came from.
This requirement is related to one of the fundamental objectives that L&C Bioessenze S.r.l. has imposed: the standardization of crops for obtaining derivatives such as essential oils, extracts that always meet the chemical-physical and biological expected demands.
L&C Bioessenze S.r.l. wants to produce, or commission according to their protocols, the seedlings of different species and make them to cultivate by local operators who ensure the respect of the rigid planned protocol. There have been several contacts with local farmers who were informed about many aspects: the variety of species to be cropped, the need of the company to run this activity in a strictly biological way, the need to comply with the specification for individual crop species, the technical support offered by the Society for the control of the cultivation, the typology of the land required by different crops, the water supplies, the duration of crops, the expected costs per hectare to realize a specific crop and the total revenues during the years of cultivation.
Essential oils, hydrolates, extracts and absolutes are obtained by the distillation and extraction process. These products can be sold to companies or cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries or better reworked, totally or partially, in chemical products. It is expected a transformation in care and personal hygiene products such as soaps, deodorants, aromatic waters, milks, body lotions, facial, hand, foot, ointments and protective oils with an eudermic action; realization of house speakers or workplace fragrance with purely organic products that promote the well-being of the people who stay there.
