Located at 550 meters above sea level, in the heart of Gallura, only twenty minutes away from the sea and 5 km away from Tempio Pausania, the Residenza d’epoca La Vignaredda is an old estate overlooking one of the most impressive landscapes in all Sardinia. It is located in a favourable position to reach some of the most beautiful and famous places in northern Sardinia, like the archipelago of La Maddalena, Costa Smeralda, Santa Teresa di Gallura and Castelsardo.
The residence overlooks from one side, the small historic centre, with an easy access to shopping and from the other side opens out into the large garden, with a spectacular view over the valley. A careful restoration has transformed the house into a comfortable holiday residence and has given back to the original splendour the granite walls, fireplaces and original furnishings, different for each room and apartment, closely following the Liberty and handmade Sardinian styles.
The peaceful and romantic atmosphere blends with the warm and friendly hospitality, make La Vignaredda the ideal base for a holiday combining the relax and the opportunity to explore the fascinating nature trails and cultural surroundings.
The Residenza d’epoca La Vignaredda has four apartments of different size, fully furnished with two bedrooms and private bathrooms. All the apartments are equipped with bed linen, bath linen and kitchen equipment.
The Apartment guests can book gastronomic specialties supplies. At their arrival, they will find a rich “basket” of tasty food and drinks (two people minimum). The “basket” includes: bread, butter, mineral water, wine, milk, yogurt, eggs, coffee, tea, sugar, jam, cheese, traditional cold cuts, season vegetables and fruit.
A 300 years long history drives the guests who decide to stay in this beautiful historic property. In fact the same family owns the B&B for three centuries, inherited, by the current owners, by the great-grandmother Caterina, who in turn received it as a wedding gift from his father. In the home office of the house you can see, as in a fascinating back in time journey, the portraits of the people who lived and loved this house.
